The former 'The Bachelorette' contestant asks the 'Hustlers' star out on a date during his appearance on 'Strahan, Sara and Keke' after admitting that he made a mistake by dating Demi in the public.

AceShowbiz - Former fan favorite of "The Bachelorette", Mike Johnson, just lost people's respect after shooting his shot with Keke Palmer on live TV. The former reality TV star asked the co-host of "Strahan, Sara and Keke" out during his appearance on the talk show, after making headlines with his online flirts with Demi Lovato.

"I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public," Mike said, referring to his short fling with the "Camp Rock" star. He continued, "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public," while looking at Keke's direction, prompting the "Scream Queens" alum to be stunned.

Co-hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines playfully turned their heads around, pretending that they didn't listen to Mike's conversation with Keke. The 26-year-old actress, meanwhile, tried to change topic, asking Mike to ask "the next question."

Trying to protect both Demi and Keke, Michael then gave Mike a warning, "Mike, let me tell you something. Demi's my girl, I love this one here too now. You mess up and I'm coming for you. You don't want that." He added though, "You all look real good together sitting there. I ain't gonna lie to you."

Sara added, "We approve," while Keke tried to diffuse the situation by stressing that she's "at work" and telling Michael to "go on." Michael jokingly said, "After the commercial break, you'll get her number."

Making light of it, Keke then shared the clip on her Instagram page and captioned it, "Even at the workplace #imtakenbymyjob #strahansarakeke."

While the "Hustlers" star didn't seem to be annoyed by Mike's move on live TV, not everyone thought it was funny. In fact, many slammed the "Bachelorette" alum as disrespectful for asking Keke out in public.

"I'm not a fan of these types of publicity stunts. I agree with Keke. She's at work. If you're interested in me you converse with me off camera," one person reacted on Twitter. Another echoed the sentiment, "Don't play with Keke while she's working. She's keeping it professional."

Some others accused Mike of using his relationships with celebrities for his fame. "He is coming off a little thirsty now with asking out publicly to two celebrities," one wrote. Another called him out, "I'm starting not to like Mike Johnson. He just seems like a social climber."

"Ok good cuz Demi don't need that kind of man that only wants to use her for fame," read another comment, while someone else said, "Okay mike! Maybe he's not even looking for love? He's probably just trying to get with celebs to make himself known."

There are others, however, who think that Mike and Keke look cute together and hope that the two will start dating.
