The 'Dark Phoenix' star and her art dealer fiance are spotted at New York City's marriage bureau with a photographer and a friend, seven months after they got engaged.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney spark a rumor that they have secretly tied the knot after they were spotted visiting a courthouse in New York City. The engaged couple was spotted at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau with two security guards, a photographer and a friend on Monday, September 16.
One onlooker wrote about her/his encounter with the 29-year-old actress at the courthouse in a now-deleted tweet, "When you go get your marriage license and Jennifer Lawrence walks by to tie the knot before your eyes. Yeah, kids, City Hall is COOL. The place to go!"
In photos obtained by Page Six, Jennifer and her fiance were beaming as they were seen exiting the Marriage Bureau with some papers in hand. The two dressed down for the outing, with the Academy Award-winning actress wearing a gray blazer, jeans and sunglasses. Her art dealer beau, meanwhile, rocked a white sweatshirt, dark pants and sunglasses.
The pair got engaged in February of this year, after dating for six months. The couple hosted a private engagement party in New York in May. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in June, the "American Hustle" actress said accepting the art dealer's proposal was a "very, very easy decision."
She also said on the "NAKED with Catt Sadler" podcast about her decision to marry her boyfriend soon, "I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other...." She added, "We wanted to commit fully, and he's my best friend."
The Katniss Everdeen of "The Hunger Games" film series plans to take Cooke's last name after they're married. "I want to legally bind him to me forever and, fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing," she said. "It's the greatest. You find your favorite person on the planet, you're like, 'You can't leave.' So, I wanted to take (him) up on that offer."
The couple reportedly plans to throw a big wedding party in October and were recently reported to have been apartment hunting in Manhattan.
