AceShowbiz - Apollo Nida can't even breathe fresh air for too long as he has been sent back to jail just days after his release. A representative for U.S. Marshals Service confirmed on Thursday, June 13 that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum had been picked up by the federal law enforcement agency for violating his parole.
"He was taken back into custody. I wouldn't say it was an arrest because it's not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody," so the representative said. "We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody." The representative, however, did not disclose what terms of Apollo's release that he violated.
He can remain behind the bars until his original release date of October 15, 2019.
Apollo pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud in May 2014. He was originally sentenced to eight years in prison, but a federal judge signed off on an order that reduced his prison sentence to 84 months back in March. The ex-husband of Phaedra Parks was released from custody on June 5 and was living in a halfway house in Philadelphia before his recent arrest.
Phaedra herself has yet to comment on the recent update of her ex-husband's legal trouble, though she did share how she had been feeling these days in a recent Instagram post. Alongside a couple of photos of her posing in a backyard, she wrote, "Waking up thankful and grateful for my awesome life, fabulous family and friends."
"Even in my darkest moments God showed up and showed out. No matter what the situation looks like know that there's a rainbow following the storm. Speak boldly to your mountain and watch it move. Favor follows me. Blessings overtake me. Love surrounds me," she continued. "Affirmations."
