In response to a cheeky remark by an Instagram follower, the 'Lip Sync Battle' co-host reminds how harmful pregnancy questions can be to people who who have trouble conceiving.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen has schooled social media users on hurtful behaviour after a fan asked if she is pregnant.

The model and TV personality shared a photo of herself and John Legend on Instagram on Saturday, June 08, prompting one fan to highlight her midsection.

"baby bump?" the cheeky follower remarked.

The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host slammed the comment, explaining how harmful questions like those can be.

"I know you didn't mean it to be rude, but think twice about asking this," she wrote on the photo sharing site. "There are people who have trouble conceiving and it hurts every time. I'm not pregnant but would be happy if I were. But I'm also happy not to be!"

Another of the 33-year-old's followers pointed out the comments can be hurtful when "you are trying to lose your baby weight", to which the forthright star replied, "I'm already reminded of it every time I get out of the shower, I don't need to hear it on the daily lol (laugh out loud)."

Teigen and Legend welcomed son Miles in May, 2018 and share daughter Luna, three. Both children were conceived with the help of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment after the beauty struggled with fertility problems for years.
