Two months after attorney Andrew Wallet stepped down from his co-conservator role, Lynne Spears is reported to have filed a request for special notice of developments via a lawyer.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears' mum has hinted she's about to play a bigger role in her daughter's legal and business affairs after filing a notice asking to be kept updated on all matters concerning the singer's conservatorship.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, Lynne Spears filed a request on Monday morning (May 06) via a lawyer, requesting special notice of developments.

Up until now, Britney's father, Jamie, has been in charge of the conservatorship, alongside a court-appointed lawyer, who recently stepped down after announcing his retirement.

Jamie and Lynn separated several years ago, but the former couple have always joined forces to support Britney, who recently checked herself into a mental health facility after struggling to deal with her father's recent health woes - he has undergone multiple surgeries after rupturing his colon last year (2018).

The judge overseeing Britney's conservatorship recently set a date for a status check.

Sources tell the outlet Lynne merely wants to take a more proactive approach to her daughter's affairs.
