The 'Counting On' star, who is said to have romantic relationship with best friend Laura DeMasie, has also given updates about her dating life while responding to a fan on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - Jana Duggar is apparently well aware about lesbian rumors surrounding her and best friend Laura DeMasie. Now, the "Counting On" star is attempting to set the records straight, insisting that their relationship is not romantic in any way.
"No. And I would like to stop that rumor," the eldest Duggar sister responds to a fan's comment on one of her Instagram posts. "I have no interest in girls that way whatsoever."
Prior to this, Laura and sister Jill Duggar's husband Derrick Dillard have denied the rumors. However, this marks the first time for Jana to adress and deny the rumors.
Romance rumors sparked between Jana and Laura after fans thought that the two were too close for best friends. Laura often appeared on "Counting On" and also helped Jana plan her brother John David Duggar's wedding. Not only that, but Laura was also present by Jana's side when the latter's younger sister Jinger Duggar gave birth to her daughter Felicity Vuolo.
The fact that Jana is single and is seemingly never seen courting further fuels speculation that the 29-year-old is secretly dating Laura. However, Jana revealed that she had " 'courted' or 'dated' a few guys, but so far nothing has gone into a serious relationship." She went on writing on Instagram, "Just continuing to wait and pray for the right guy to come along."
Back in January, she was rumored to be courting Lawson Bates following their friendly exchange on the photo-sharing platform. Fans were excited about the rumor, but the TV star clarified that she and Lawson were "not a thing."
Rumors between the two started after Lawson left a friendly comment on Jana's Instagram post in which she captioned her photo with, "Say cheese!" Lawson then left three grinning emojis in the comment section. In addition, his mother "liked" a comment about the pair potentially courting. However, Lawson said that it was an accidental "like."
Talking to In Touch, he explained, "My mom was scrolling through late last night and didn't realize what she was liking. Meanwhile, Instagram 101 for my mom is now in session."
