A source says things between them are now different compared to before, as they have been 'easy' this time around.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck and "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus are said to be giving their love another shot. After they went separate ways in August 2018, a new report claims that the pair are getting back together.

A source tells Us Weekly that the "Gone Girl" actor and the TV producer "are totally back on." The source added that Ben and Lindsay, who dated for more than a year, have "picked up right where they left off."

Another source, meanwhile, the pair "wouldn't exactly say they were totally back together." However, they're definitely "hanging out." The first source says things between them are now different compared to before, as they have been "easy" this time around.

This arrives after the two were spotted having a dinner date together in Los Angeles. The "Justice League" star and his ex were spotted arriving separately at top restaurant Katsuya on Saturday, February 24, when he wore a suit, while Lindsay kept her look casual in jeans, a blue shirt, and booties. The outing occurred hours after they were seen stopping at a Starbucks coffee shop together.

Prior to this, it was said that Lindsay "reached out" to Ben. "They've been talking and have seen each other again," said a source at that time. "Ben is in a much better place health-wise and is a lot happier."

The 46-year-old actor/director and the 38-year-old TV producer allegedly have "always really liked each other and that hasn't changed." The source continued saying, "They will keep talking and see what happens. It wouldn't be surprising if they got back together, but with the distance and living on different coasts it's difficult."

Following their split last year, Ben was romantically linked to Playboy model Shauna Sexton. It was only for such a brief time before he entered and completed a 40-day rehabilitation program for alcohol abuse.
