AceShowbiz - Prepare your wallet, NCT 127 fans! Your favorite idol group is heading to the states for their first North American tour. According to Billboard, which first reported the news, the Seoul-based group will be bringing their "Neo City - The Origin" concerts to the western hemisphere this spring.
Further details regarding tour dates and venues have yet to be revealed, but sources tell the music publication that the band will head Stateside between April and May. Reps for SM Entertainment, the label behind NCT 127, have yet to confirm the report.
Although this will be NCT 127's first ever tour in North America, this isn't their first time performing in the states. Last year, the South Korean heartthrobs made their U.S. TV debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", performing their first English song "Regular". They also attended the 2018 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles in addition to appearing on ABC's special celebrating Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary.
"Neo City - The Origin", the band's first ever concerts, kicked off on January 26 in Seoul, South Korea. NCT 127 is currently hitting the road in Japan as a part of the trek, which is scheduled to wrap up with a three-night show from March 29 to 30 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama.
During a press conference for the shows, the group expressed their gratefulness for being able to hold their first concerts. "To have such a great opportunity makes us feel proud of ourselves and grateful to all those who have helped us," Taeyong shared. "I'm so happy that something I've dreamed of since my trainee days has become a reality."
Consisting of ten members, NCT 127 is the second sub-unit of NCT. The group debuted on July 7, 2016 with their first EP "NCT #127".
