AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has broken his silence after he was accused of rape by a woman in Paris. Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, January 22, he posted a photo featuring a message which reads, "This B!tch Lyin."
Without mentioning the rape allegations, he added in the caption, "I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR...... THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!"
The photo has been liked by more than 1 million Instagram users as the 29-year-old singer has gained support from fans and his celebrity friends. Responding to Chris' denial, T.I. wrote in the comment section, "Stay solid and protect ya self King. Prayers UP."
The Game added, "Hold ya head baby bro #conspiracists." Winnie Harlow commented with a broken heart and rock sign emoji, while Fat Joe left a 100 percent emoji with prayer hands. Ray J showed his trust in Chris as he wrote, "We know fam!! Keep your head up and get back to America asap."
Chris was detained on Tuesday, January 22 in Paris on allegations of aggravated rape and drug violations, a French judicial source has confirmed. He was arrested with two other individuals, including one of Chris' bodyguards, but has been released without bail. He won't face any charges at this time as the investigation is ongoing. He is free to leave France.
In earlier reports, a woman claimed she met Chris and his friends at the Le Crystal nightclub on January 15 and followed Chris to his room at the Le Mandarin Oriental, where he allegedly raped her. The 24-year-old women, who goes by the pseudonym "Karima", tells Closer magazine (via TMZ) the R&B star was "brutal and violent" during the assault. She claims that Chris' friends and a bodyguard also "abused" her.
Karima says she was scared, but ultimately decided to report the incident to cops 2 days later because she didn't want Brown to "be able to do the same things to other girls."
A source connected to Chris, however, shares a different story. The source says Chris was never alone with the alleged victim. The "Yeah 3x" hitmaker was joined more than 20 people in the room, including his girlfriend Ammika Harris who was in the hotel room the whole time. They were reportedly "hanging out" and listening to music Chris was playing on his iPhone.
