AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson has revealed the ugly truth of being pregnant. While some have been fixed on her maternal clothes that keep her look flawless all the time, the singer-turned-fashion designer reveals that she's currently suffering from a swollen foot.
The 38-year-old, who is expecting her third child with her husband Eric Johnson (II), took to Instagram on Thursday, January 10 to share a shocking picture of her extremely huge foot. She begged for help from her fans, writing in the caption, "Any remedies?! Help!!!!"
Naturally, this sparks concerns among her fans. While many have shared suggestions to de-swell her ankles, some of them think that visiting a doctor would be the best and wisest solution. "Keep elevating legs but would go to doctors as soon as x," one wrote. Another similarly responded, "I think elevating your feet could only help. Also, I would go to the doctor. Take care."
Another follower stressed the urge to ask for medical advice from the most trusted source. "Hospital. Dont ask the internet for help. Just go. There is swelling in pregnancy but that dont look good," the said Internet user told Jessica.
Another concerned fan thinks the swollen foot, which could be one of the symptoms of pre-eclampsia, should not be taken lightly. She commented on the image, "This picture is so concerning, I hope someone has taken you for a check up. Preeclampsia is so dangerous, please dont take these symptoms lightly. Much love to you & baby."
Jessica broke the news of her third pregnancy in September 2018. She shared a snap of her growing belly and revealed in another post that she and her husband are expecting a girl. The unborn baby girl will join big sister Maxwell Drew Johnson, 6, and big brother, Ace Knute Johnson, 5.
In May 2017, Jessica told Ellen DeGeneres that she and Eric had no desire to add another child to her family of four. "We got an IUD (intrauterine device for birth control). Nothing is going to get into that uterus. I have two beautiful children and I'm not having a third. They're too cute! You can't top that," she said at the time. But she appeared to have had a change of heart since she has been embracing her third pregnancy.
