AceShowbiz - Dax Shepard is accused of cheating on Kristen Bell way back when they were dating. Julie Andrews' granddaughter Kayti Edward claimed she hooked up with the actor in late 2009/early 2010, when he was already in a relationship with his now-wife.
Speaking to Daily Mail, Kayti said she and Dax first met in 2005 when he was on Ashton Kutcher's practical joke reality series "Punk'd". "It was just kind of we would hook up here and there," Kayti described their early relationship. "But we had a little friendship when we saw each other."
Their casual relationship fizzled out when Kayti left Hollywood to live in Hawaii, but they bumped into each other again when she visited L.A. at the end of 2009/beginning of 2010. "I was house-sitting for a girlfriend of mine in Hollywood and there was this party," she recalled. "I think it might have been someone's birthday party or some kind of big event, a lot of celebrities were there, it was at a nightclub in Hollywood."
Kayti shared photos they took in a photo booth at the party. They were seen all over each other, passionately locking lips in the pictures. "We grabbed the photos and he handed 'em to me and said, 'I can't take these home, you better hang on to them,' " so she claimed. "Because...apparently he had a girlfriend. And it wasn't until later that I realized who his girlfriend was."
Kayti said they left the party together around 2 A.M. and headed to the place she was house-sitting. "We went back and made love, we had sex twice and he stayed until the next morning," she told the site, calling the night "passionate."
The former model said she and Dax didn't see each other until around a year later. They ran into each other on the street in Santa Monica and went to grab a coffee to catch up. She has never met him again since then.
Learning of Kayti's claim, Dax has set things straight about the timeline of their relationship. "Hey Daily Mail, that photo is 13 years old, not 9," he wrote on Instagram along with a screengrab of the article. This means the photos were taken in 2005 before he dated Kristen, not in 2009 as Kayti claimed.
The 43-year-old writer/director additionally called out Kayti for spreading numerous lies involving him and other celebrities. "Also, Kayti has sold stories to tabloids about Matthew Perry, Jack Osbourne, Kid Rock, and now me. I look forward to her next one. Fingers crossed it's about my #1, Brad Pitt :)," he noted.
The "Parenthood" alum wrote the same denial on Twitter. "And her proof is a photo of us in 2005 (the last time I saw her). Additionally, I'm the fourth story she's sold to a tabloid (Matthew Perry, Jack Osbourne, Kid Rock, and now me!)" he claimed.

Dax and Kristen began dating in late 2007 and tied the knot in 2013 after a long engagement. They have two children together, daughters Lincoln Bell Shepard, 5, and Delta Bell Shepard, 3.
