The Victoria's Secret angel opens up about the secret of her catwalk success when she makes an appearance at the footwear brand Schutz's new Miami store.

AceShowbiz - Adriana Lima was taught to master the catwalk by a drag queen.

The Brazilian supermodel is one of the most sought-after names in fashion, and earlier this month, walked her in 18th and final Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Adriana made an appearance at the footwear brand Schutz's new Miami store earlier this week, November 13, and during a chat with reporters from Footwear News, she shared the secret of her catwalk success.

"A friend of mine - he's a Brazilian drag queen - he's the one who taught me. One foot over the other; the posture with your head; how to look toward the end of the runway," she explained of her pal's techniques. "The most important part is the end - (how to pose) for pictures at the end."

Adriana added that when runway models reach the end of the catwalk, they pose according to the type of outfit they are wearing.

"When you wear heavy coats there's a whole technique in which you can take it off - and he taught me that or I wouldn't know," the 37-year-old smiled.

Adriana debuted her resort 2019 campaign at the opening of Schutz's flagship boutique too, with the latest shoe collection featuring a range of metallic and neon designs.
