Cardi B Blindsided by Final 'Ring' Video Cut

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker takes to Instagram to vent about the matter.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Cardi B was blindsided by the video release for her Kehlani collaboration Ring because she didn't sign off on the final cut.

Fans were given a visual treat when her latest promo dropped online on Monday morning, August 20, but the news of its launch came as a surprise to the new mum, too, because no one had told her about the planned release.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker took to Instagram to vent about the oversight in a video post to fans, revealing she only discovered it was live from all the comments she had received on social media, praising her for the sexy imagery.

"Alright guys, so I'm a little p**sed because I woke up this morning... and when I get on Instagram, I see the Ring video come out (sic)," she said.

"You know, I'm happy for the response that it's getting but it's just like, I didn't even get to see final edits for the video, I didn't even know that it was supposed to come out today!"

Taking aim at her label officials, Cardi remarked, "Like, d**n, y'all shoulda let me know so I coulda announce it, promote it and s**t, let my fans know (sic)."

"S**t, I don't even know... if it's on YouTube!" she continued. "But f**k it, I hope you enjoy it, I guess. Thank you! The Ring video is out with Kehlani."

"Motherf**kers, sneaky motherf**kers. Who did that (sic)?" she questioned out loud, before jokingly blaming the Russian hackers who meddled with the U.S. presidential election in 2016 and helped to get Donald Trump into office.

"It was those Russians, those d**n Russians who helped Trump!" Cardi cackled. "I knew it!"

She captioned the post, "Like wttttff (what the f**k)...well since is out make sure ya check out RING MUSIC VIDEO with me and @kehlani (sic)".

The rapper's angry Instagram rant occurred as she prepared to return to the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in her native New York City on Monday night. The event marked her first official public appearance after giving birth to daughter Kulture in July, and she was given further reason to celebrate after taking home trophies for Best New Artist, Song of the Summer for her Bad Bunny and J Balvin track, I Like It, and Best Collaboration for Dinero, with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled.
