Witness Kenneth Jordan revealed he lied under oath because he was pressured by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detectives.

AceShowbiz - Rapper C-Murder is seeking a new trial after a witness in his original murder case reportedly recanted his testimony.

Master P's brother, real name Corey Miller, was handed a life sentence in 2003 after he was found guilty of the 2002 killing of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in a New Orleans, Louisiana nightclub. The conviction for second degree murder was overturned in 2006, only for C-Murder to be convicted again following a second trial in 2009.

According to The Times Picayune, witness Kenneth Jordan has now revealed he allegedly lied under oath because he was pressured by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detectives, who reportedly told him he would face criminal charges if he didn't testify against Miller.

"I know the individual that I saw shoot the gun was not Corey Miller," an affidavit filed last week in 24th Judicial District Court reads.

On Tuesday, June 26, Miller's lawyer urged a judge to grant him a new trial following Jordan's reported admission.

"On countless occasions (both prior to making his statement and prior to testifying at trial), Mr. Jordan told members of law enforcement and prosecution that his 2003 recorded statement to the JPSO officers was not true, that the person he saw commit the shooting was definitely not Corey Miller, and that he did not want to lie under oath about Corey's involvement," Paul Barker writes. "At no time during the 15+ years of proceedings in this tortured case has the state once disclosed this information to Mr. Miller himself, or to Mr. Miller's attorneys or any other member of Mr. Miller's defense team".
