The contestant of Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of 'The Bachelor' was reported missing by her mother on December 18, 2017, telling the deputies that she hadn't heard from her since November 12.

AceShowbiz - Well, this is somehow bizarre. Bekah M., one of the contestants of current season 22 of "The Bachelor", was among people who are reported missing in Humboldt County, until a fan recognized her. Her photo was posted by North Coast Jurnal's Thursday, February 1 Facebook post, which was captioned with, "See anyone you recognize?"

A fan later replied, "Yep, Rebekah Martinez is on this season of The Bachelor…"

It was later revealed that her mom reported her missing on November 18, 2017 around 1 A.M. She told the deputies that she hadn't heard from her since November 12.

According to her mother, Bekah, who is a nanny competing in Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of the ABC show, was planning on working at a marijuana farm in the area. Her mom alleged that she contacted Bekah via a friend's cell phone on November 12 at around 11 A.M., telling her to come home. However, Bekah allegedly refused and told her mom that she would see her in seven to eight days. Bekah also told her mom that she was near Eureka, an area about 45 minutes north or south of any marijuana farm.

The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office tried to contact Bekah, but to no avail. Following the procedure, the deputy forwarded the case to the Humboldt County Sherriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division.

Later on December 12, Bekah's mom was contacted by a deputy sheriff via email regarding Bekah. Her mom confirmed that Bekah had contacted her late in the afternoon on November 18 and added that she went back home. The deputy later asked Bekah to contact the investigator of the case as soon as possible. Because deputy was not able to make direct contact with Bekah, she was not removed from the Missing and Unidentified Persons System until this week.

Bekah, who has been active on social media throughout the time she was reported missing, addressed the issue on her Twitter account. "MOM. how many times do I have to tell you I don’t get cell service on The Bachelor??" she tweeted.

She went on joking, "honestly the scariest thing about this story is that my efforts to conceal The Worst Drivers License Photo Of All Time have been thwarted."
