AceShowbiz - Christmas seemingly is bringing Matt Lauer's family together. The disgrace TV host, who was embroiled in sexual harassment scandal, was spotted spending time with his wife Annette Roque and their kids over the weekend.
The former "Today" host was seen walking into a horse farm in Sag Harbor, New York on Saturday, December 23. His wife and Romy Lauer, their 14-year-old daughter, were waiting inside.
The 59-year-old TV personality later was spotted stepping out with his sons, Jack Lauer (16) and Thijs Lauer (11) over the Christmas weekend. Sporting a serious look on his face, Matt, alongside his boys, was seen in the Hamptons. The father and sons trio kept themselves warm in thick coats and hats. During the outing, their mom was nowhere to be seen, though.
This arrives after Annette was spotted visiting a law firm Latham & Watkins in Manhattan, New York City. Looking stern, the 50-year-old former Dutch model, who wore an olive turtle neck, a fur sleeveless coat and white pants, looked somber as he carried a clutch in one of her hands.
Rumors had it, Annette "has been meeting with lawyers about squeezing a bigger settlement out of him if they proceed to a divorce." Her father previously shared that things turned ugly after the scandal, which led to him being fired from the NBC show. "I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed," Henry said. "She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out."
Matt and Annette, who tied the knot in October 1998, were also seen without their wedding rings in recent outings, further fueling split rumors.
Lauer was fired from "Today" after a female employee met with NBC News' human resource last week. She allegedly accused Lauer of inviting her to his hotel room late at night while covering the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014.
