AceShowbiz - Chris Evans and Jenny Slate are officially back on. PEOPLE has confirmed that the former couple is giving their failed romance another go. An eyewitness tells the publication that the 36-year-old hunky actor and the 35-year-old actress/comedienne looked "very much back together" when spotted apartment-hunting this week in New York City.
Chris and Jenny, who broke up in February after dating for nearly one year, first sparked reconciliation rumors after they were spotted enjoying dinner together in Atlanta while the actor filmed his latest movie, "Avengers: Infinity War". On the following day, the two were spotted together again on a double-date with his pal Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan Downey.
Shortly after, Chris and Jenny were exchanging flirty messages on social media. The Steve Rogers of "The Avengers" movie series further fueled rumors he and Jenny were back on when he shared a cute video of his dog on Twitter. A woman was heard giggling in the background of the clip, and many believed that the woman was Jenny.
Jenny later started to gush over her "boyfriend" on social media. "My boyfriend does many dreamy&generous things but number 1 in my mind right now is how he celebrates my new turtlenecks/let's me show him my online shopping spoils&cheers me on," so "The Secret Life of Pets" voice actor tweeted. While she didn't name names, many speculated that her new boyfriend was an old one, Chris.
The pair remained amicable in the months following their split earlier this year, often praising each other in the press. When promoting her movie "Gifted", in which she starred together with Chris, Jenny said, "We all love each other so much, and it's a real, real love. I mean, I have gone on and on about how beautiful Chris is. He is, inside and out."
