AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone just set a new friendship goal for all girls out there following their cute interaction at the 2017 Governors Awards. The two Oscar-winning actresses goofed around as they reunited on the red carpet of the event, which was held at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday, November 11 in Hollywood.
The "Battle of the Sexes" star was posing for photographers on the red carpet when her close friend larked around behind her. They acted silly despite their glamorous looks, holding hands, dancing and jokingly grinning at each other.
Jennifer looked elegant in a colorful sequin crop top and matching bottom by Alexander McQueen that featured a flowing black skirt. Her hair was arranged in an updo. Emma, meanwhile, looked chic in a white Louis Vuitton dress featuring buckle designs and a plunging neckline.
The two stars became close friends after they were introduced to each other by their mutual co-star Woody Harrelson. Jennifer starred alongside the actor in "The Hunger Games" movies and Emma co-starred him in 2009's "Zombieland".
"We're very supportive of each other," Jennifer once said about her relationship with Emma. She also told Glamour magazine in her cover interview last year, "I love Emma. She cracks me up."
Emma also reunited with her former boyfriend Andrew Garfield at the event hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The friendly exes were seen talking and laughing together during the dinner break at the event, according to E! News. After the gala, they and their groups walked outside together and chatted on the steps for a while.
Despite their friendly encounter, it appears that Emma has moved on from her "The Amazing Spider-Man" co-star as she recently sparked dating rumors with "Saturday Night Live" segment director Dave McCary. She was seen attending the premiere of indie movie "Brigsby Bear", which McCary directed and stars his childhood friend Kyle Mooney, in June. The alleged lovers were caught on camera leaving together after the special screening. They reportedly have been dating for months.
