AceShowbiz - Another Hollywood couple is seemingly born. Dakota Johnson and Jon Hamm sparked dating rumors after the two stars were spotted having a romantic date night on Thursday, October 5 at Kingside in the Viceroy Central Park hotel.
According to Page Six, the 28-year-old actress was seen drinking wine with the "Mad Men" vet at the restaurant after the latter hosted the Brooklyn Black Tie Ball.
"They seemed to really be enjoying each other's company," a source told the site. The source further explained that the rumored couple was hanging out for about two hours during the "low-key" night.
This was hardly the first time for the "Baby Driver" actor and the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress being caught together. Back in March, the stars were snapped together at Elton John's 70th star-studded birthday bash at Red Studios in Hollywood, though they were reportedly arrived separately.
In 2015, Jon split from his partner of 18 years, writer/director Jennifer Westfeldt. Following the breakup, Jon was rumored to be dating Jenny Slate and also spotted flirting with Kate Beckinsale.
Earlier this year, Jon opened up about how it felt being a single. "It's hard to be single after being together for a long time. It's really hard," he told InStyle, before adding, "It sucks."
As for Dakota, the actress broke up with boyfriend of two years Matthew Hitt, the singer and guitarist in American-Welsh indie rock band called Drowners, in 2016 due to conflicting schedules. "I think I'm a little bit heartbroken all the time, even when I'm in a happy relationship. I don't do casual very well, and my feelings, even the good ones, get so intense that they hurt," the Anastasia Steel depicter revealed to Vogue.
