AceShowbiz - %cRachel Lindsay%'s journey to find her true love on "The Bachelorette" season 13 has officially begun. The season premiere that aired Monday, May 22 saw the 32-year-old attorney meeting her 31 suitors, four of which were introduced during %cNick Viall%'s "The Bachelor: After the Final Rose".
Before meeting the guys, Rachel got some advice from Alexis, Astrid, Corinne, Jasmine, Kristina, Raven and Whitney from last season's "The Bachelor". Whitney warned Rachel about one of the suitors named DeMario from Los Angeles, who allegedly has a girlfriend back at home.
The first guy who got off the limo was Peter, 31, who owns a business in Madison, Wisconsin. He joked that she hasn't had much luck with guys from Wisconsin, referring to Nick, but she felt that she's "off to a good start."
Josiah, a lawyer who earlier shared in a video shown to viewers a tragic story of his brother's suicide when Josiah was just 7, is confident that after they get to know each other, she'll have "no reasonable doubt" that they're meant to be together.
Bryan, a 37-year-old chiropractor from Miami, declared himself a "trouble." Will, a 28-year-old sales manager, initially dressed as Urkel, but later went back into the limo and traded it for a suit. Brady, a 28-year-old model, literally broke the ice as he brought a sledgehammer and a slab of ice.
Blake E., 31, showed up with a marching band, and Matt, 32, dressed as a penguin. He explained his choice of costume, "Penguins mate for life." Grant, a 29-year-old emergency medicine physician from New York, arrived in an ambulance with the sirens blasting.
Fred, a 27-year-old executive assistant in Dallas, knew Rachel back when he was in 3rd grade and she was in 8th grade. He showed a yearbook to prove it and Rachel remembers him as a "very bad" kid. Jonathan, a 31-year-old doctor, tickled Rachel because he knows she likes to laugh. Adam, a 27-year-old real estate agent, brought a small mannequin which looks like him.
If that wasn't creepy enough, Lucas a.k.a. "whaboom" arrived with a megaphone and told Rachel that he has one testicle that's bigger than the other. To explain what "whaboom" means, Lucas showed his move which involved some head shaking and that's enough to make the other guys label him as "the crazy one."
At the cocktail party, Josiah told Rachel about his sad life story and how a judge gave him a "second chance" after he was arrested for burglary when he was 12. Mohit, a 26-product manager who has been Bollywood dancing since he was 6, was totally wasted before he even tried to talk to Rachel.
Lucas kept yelling "whaboom" and interrupted Peter when he tried to woo Rachel. Bryan claimed he's good with his hands because he's a chiropractor, but he's apparently also a good talker as he landed the first kiss with Rachel. Rachel told the camera she didn't plan on kissing anyone on the first night, but she "enjoyed" it.
Bryan got the first impression rose as well. Rachel told him that she "felt something that was unexplainable" when they met. "There was something there," she admitted, though it has just started. Rachel handed out roses to other guys, but eight guys were sent home. Those unlucky ones were Blake K., Grant, Jamey, Jedidiah, Kyle, Milton, Mohit and Rob.
