AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea has revealed that the lead single for her sophomore album "Digital Distortion" will be called "Team." The 25-year-old rapper announced the good news through a Q&A session on Twitter.
When a fan asked the Australian rapper whether "7teen", the song she previewed from a studio earlier this month, would be the first single of her new album, Iggy answered, "No. Lead is 'Team.' Meaning: I've got my own back, I am my own team. 20|percent| meaningful 70|percent| bop 10|percent| ratchet." She stated that the single wouldn't be dropped in January 2016, but she promised to drop some "content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff" through YouTube and Sound Cloud.
Earlier this month, Iggy also revealed on Twitter that besides rapping, she would be doing some singing. "I ended up writing some last minute hooks with Bebe Rexha and her writing partner a few days last week and really enjoyed my time," she wrote. "She also convinced me to ugly-sing and it turned out great. I felt very out of my comfort zone, which is always when the good stuff happens."
