The motion poster of the upcoming 'Finding Nemo' spin-off sees the titular fish hiding between corals in the midst of the ocean.

AceShowbiz - Following the first trailer for the highly-anticipated "Finding Dory", the first motion poster has arrived. Making its way out via Ellen DeGeneres's streaming site Ellentube, the two-minute video sees the titular fish in the midst of the ocean as she swims and hides between corals. "Have you seen her?" so reads the tagline in the video.

"Finding Dory" takes place six months after "Finding Nemo", with Dory having a good life among the clown fishes. After having a class trip to see manta rays migrate back home, she becomes a bit homesick herself. This leads the amnestic blue tang on a quest to discover where she truly comes from.

"The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born and raised," Pixar President Jim Morris stated previously. The upcoming movie features some returning characters such as Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, while also bringing in some new characters. "We will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, a beluga whale, among others," Morris said.

DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Willem Dafoe will return to voice Dory, Marlin and Gill, the moorish idol respectively. Directed by Stanton, the "Finding Nemo" spin-off is slated to be released in U.S. theaters on June 17, 2016.
