The former Disney star's sultry rendition of MAGIC!'s reggae/pop hit easily won approval from the band, who praised and thanked her in a Twitter post.

AceShowbiz - While gearing up to release her new album "Revival", Selena Gomez made a promotional visit to BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge". During her appearance on Friday, September 25, the singer performed a live rendition of her single "Good for You" as well as a cover of MAGIC!'s hit "Rude".

Selena channeled her inner goddess as she took the stage in a long-sleeved sparkly silver dress. Her version of the Canadian group's No. 1 single didn't stray too far from the original, but her sultry vocals did make the song sound a lot sexier.

Sel's "Rude" easily won MAGIC!'s approval. After BBC Radio 1 tweeted a photo of the former Disney princess' performance on Twitter, the band responded, "Great job with Rude thank you @BBCR1 @selenagomez love."

"Revival" is set for release on October 9. In addition to "Good for You" featuring A$AP Rocky which has peaked at No. 5 on Billboard Hot 100, the album has been preceded by "Same Old Love" that was co-penned by Charli XCX.
