AceShowbiz - President Barack Obama has begun his three-day trip to Alaska with Bear Grylls and he documented it in some pictures shared on the White House's Instagram. The POTUS took a selfie with the British survivalist in the Alaskan wilderness and the two seemed to have fun. "Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park. -bo," the president captioned it.
In another image, President Obama posed next to a marker during a tour of Exit Glacier. "Markers throughout Exit Glacier show how much it's receded over time. The impacts of climate change are real, and the people of Alaska are living with them every day. It's never been more important for us to work together to address this challenge," he wrote alongside the pic.
He's also seen enjoying the view at Resurrection Bay in another shot. He shared, "Resurrection Bay is one of those places that reminds you of all the beauty this country has to offer. It's home to whales (I got to see one!), sea lions, and dozens of other species. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and alpine glaciers, this is a place that's worth protecting."
The special edition of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" featuring President Obama will air later this year. The president joins celebrities like Channing Tatum, Kate Winslet, Zac Efron, Kate Hudson and Michelle Rodriguez who have appeared on the reality adventure series.
