AceShowbiz - Stan Lee was rushed to hospital after he called 911 on Sunday morning, June 28. According to TMZ, the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics was taken from his Hollywood Hills residence to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
While the exact cause of Stan's hospitalization is still unknown, sources tell the site that the creator of "The Avengers" said he didn't feel well. However, he is possibly on the mend because his rep tells the site he will still be attending the Hollywood premiere of "Ant-Man" on Monday night.
Back in September 2012, Stan underwent a surgical operation to insert a pacemaker into his body. He later told fans that he's not going to die soon. "Attention, Troops! This is a dispatch sent from your beloved Generalissimo, directly from the center of Hollywood's combat zone! Now hear this! Your leader hath not deserted thee!" he said in a statement.
"In an effort to be more like my fellow Avenger, Tony Stark, I have had an electronic pace-maker placed near my heart to insure that I'll be able to lead thee for another 90 years," he continued, "But fear thee not, my valiant warriors. I am in constant touch with our commanders in the field and victory shall soon be ours. Now I must end this dispatch and join my troops, for an army without a leader is like a day without a cameo!"
