The 'Ride Along' star will take the 'SNL' stage on January 17, the same weekend his new movie 'The Wedding Ringer' hits theaters.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has been tapped as the first "Saturday Night Live" host in 2015. The actor/comedian will host the first episode of the NBC variety series in the new year set to air January 17.
It will mark the second time the "Think Like a Man" star hosts the sketch show after tackling the same duty in March 2013. His return to "SNL" comes a day after his new movie "The Wedding Ringer" opens in U.S. theaters on January 16.
Musical guest for the January 17 episode has not been announced yet.
The most recent episode of "SNL" featured Amy Adams as the host, with former "SNL" cast member Kristen Wiig returning to crash Adams' monologue during her rendition of "We Need a Little Christmas". The show also poked fun at the Sony hacking scandal in the cold open featuring Mike Myers as his "Austin Powers" character Dr. Evil.
