Amanda's parents win bid to retain a conservatorship which allows them to control their daughter's medical and financial decisions until at least February 2015.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes will remain under conservatorship until at least February 2015. On Friday, October 31, a judge in Ventura County, California ruled Amanda to stay under conservatorship after the judge turned away a lawyer named Art Santiago who appeared in court on her behalf.

According to PEOPLE, the judge said that Art could not represent Amanda because he's "not her court-appointed attorney, thus striking out her bid for legal and financial freedom." Art claimed he had been in contact with the troubled actress for the past two weeks. The lawyer also said he "convinced her to voluntarily take her medication" and had been "following her progress."

He added, "I've been dealing with her for the past two weeks and believe I'm the only one she can trust."

Amanda tweeted earlier that day that she planned to go to court but she never appeared. According to TMZ, she was last spotted eating watermelon during lunchtime at a Hollywood diner.

The "Easy A" actress, who was released from a psychiatric facility on Thursday, also posted disturbing tweets which accused her father of sexual assault and denounced her sometimes-manager Sam Lutfi.

A source close to Amanda told PEOPLE, "She said she was going to fight her parents in court because she didn't want them to control her life."
