Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson is set to look for his true love in the U.K. version of the reality show.

AceShowbiz - Britain has found its eligible bachelor in Gavin Henson. The former longtime lover of Charlotte Church is set to star on the U.K. version of "The Bachelor", dating 25 single women before landing his heart on one of them.
"Gavin Henson is the perfect bachelor and is hoping to find his ideal partner," Channel 5's director of programs Jeff Ford gushed. "I'm sure the viewers will enjoy this high-energy and exciting journey as we follow Gavin in his quest to find true love."
Gavin who split from fiancee Charlotte last year has also spoken up about his involvement in the show, sharing "I'm so excited to have been cast as The Bachelor as I really feel the time is right for me to find a girl to hopefully spend the rest of my life with."
"It can be hard in my situation to meet women and The Bachelor will give me the unique opportunity to go on some incredible dates and spend quality time getting to know amazing women from all over the U.K.," he added.
Among the 25 gorgeous girls competing for Gavin's affection are models, a pair of blond twins and a brainy web developer. Filming is already underway in the South of France with the potential brides residing in a luxury villa.
Gavin Henson, a Welsh rugby union player, has two children, 3-year-old Ruby and 2-year-old Dexter, with Charlotte Church. He has previously competed on another reality show, "Strictly Come Dancing".
