Tiger Woods in Good Condition After Involved in Single Car Crash

Woods' representative has confirmed that the golfer has been discharged from the hospital where he was treated on Friday morning, November 27 after being involved in a car accident.

AceShowbiz - Tiger Woods was involved in a single car accident on Friday, November 27 in front of his Florida home, but is said to be doing well after being treated at a hospital. His wife Elin Nordegren reportedly helped getting him free from his crashed SUV.

Orlando Sentinel which breaks report on the accident claims Woods was pulling out of his driveway and making his way out from his home on Deacon Circle in his 2009 Cadillac SUV at about 2:25 A.M. when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property. He was alone at that time. His wife Nordegren heard the crash from inside the house and quickly rushed outside.

Upon knowing that Woods was trapped inside his vehicle, Nordegren attempted to get him out of the car by using golf club to break a window. The golfer was rushed to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla. after being rescued. He was said having cuts on his lips and blood in his mouth.

Woods' spokesman Glenn Greenspan has publicly confirmed that the accident happened to his client was "minor" and that he was "admitted, treated and released today in good condition." Meanwhile, the hospital has also affirmed, "Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night. He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition." No other information about his condition has been released though.

As of the press time, officials are investigating the crash. Charges reportedly are pending, but the Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed the accident was not alcohol related.
