According to Associated Press, Madonna will arrive at the capital of Malawi this weekend to sign some paperwork.

AceShowbiz - A new development in Madonna's scheme to adopt a child from Malawi for the second time is available. The pop queen is ready to welcome a girl from the impoverished region to her home, a welfare official said to The Associated Press on Friday, March 27.

The identity of the girl is not revealed but details regarding her parents are revealed. The official, as well as a source close to the adoption case said that the girl is a four-year-old whose teenage mother was not married. The mother was dead soon after she was born, but the father is believed to be alive although he remains anonymous.

Initially, the family of the girl refused the idea of her being adopted but they later gave the approval. Her uncle will represent her in the court on Monday, March 30 to sign all the necessary paperwork. Meanwhile, Madonna is expected to arrive in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, few days before that.

Madonna, now divorced from her husband Guy Ritchie, has adopted David Banda from the same nation. She faced long process in taking home David to London, mainly due to the complicated foreign adoption rule in Malawi.

Before the four-year-old girl is revealed, there were reports that Madonna was going to adopt a girl named Mercy James whom she has met before. The one-year-old is from the same orphanage where David was.
