Toby Keith you are one of a kind. our son Brad passed away unexpected two weeks ago,I bought the album before Brad passed. that song was owesome and was played at our sevice. Brad was a super star to all his family and friends. Thank you for the beautiful song!

its been a year ago this past september since i found my best friend of 28 years, dead in her bed. she dief from an Aneurysm in her brain. It was so sudden...no one had any idea that she would be going to bed to never wake up again. It has been very hard for her fanily and children. I know that my pain can not compare. But, you have gotten so close in explaining it in your song. Thank you from all the friends that have suffered the lost of someone they will never best able to replace. God Bless you through the rough times ahead....time does make it better. But you never forget them.

WOW! I could not tell you the name of any other of your songs, Mr. Keith (don't listen to too much radio); however, I will NEVER forget this one! I just heard part of an interview you had with ACC then they played the song. I immediately google it to play it again. Many times people only consider the "family" of an individual who dies, but family members are not the only ones who suffer. I normally don't care for music videos but this one is incredible! What a tribute to the memory of your friend. Like several of the posts below have stated, you have expressed what many feel and have given comfort to others through your song. I just lost a young married couple who were in the charmed phase of their life to a horrific car accident. The pain we feel when friends and exceptional humans are taken is difficult to put in words. Toby put a voice to the pain so many of us have at such a difficult time. What an honor, Toby, it must have been to have had such a great spirited man call you friend.

When I first heard this song I cried the entire drive to work. And now that I've seen the video I'm crying again. This is possibly the best song that says exactly what anyone who's lost a dear friend is feeling. Toby you are truly a genuine artist and thank you for sharing your words, voice and music with the world. Wayman Tisdale was a bright light with that smile and was part of the best Sacto Kings team that ever existed.
