Detective Logan (Chris Noth, reprising his former "Law & Order" character) gets his first Major Case and partners with Detective Barek (new series star Annabella Sciorra) to probe a series of murderous Mom-and-Pop jewelry heists.
However, as Logan zeroes in on a drug-addicted young loser Johnny as his suspect (guest star Peter Scanavino), his instinctive methods cause concern among his fellow law enforcement officers. When the detectives arrest a twitchy female accomplice, they pick up the scent of an older woman who not only is a career criminal, but could be the driving psychological force behind the crimes.
