AceShowbiz - French Montana may be involved in a royal romance. The Moroccan-American MC has sparked dating rumors with Her Highness Shaikha Mahra, the Princess of Dubai, as they've been spending time together lately.

Videos and photos on social media documented the two enjoying several outings together in the recent weeks. In photos shared by the royal on her Instagram account, the pair could be seen enjoying a camel ride with a friend at the desert-located oasis Bab Al Shams.

French wore the Emirati traditional menswear, the Kandura and the Ghutra, for the outing to respect the culture. Shaikha Mahra, meanwhile, looked stunning in a turquoise traditional ensemble.

They additionally posed together during a dinner outing at Nammos Dubai, a famous restaurant located at the Four Seasons Resort, Jumeirah. Sheikha was seen gifting the rapper her Divorce collection, which included her signature perfume, a matching hair and body spray as well as a shimmering glitter powder.

The dating rumors between the hip-hop star and the Dubai royal came after she made headlines in July for announcing her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. "Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce," she wrote.

The princess' post seemed to invoke the Islamic practice of triple talaq, in which someone declares "I divorce you" three times to instantly end a marriage. Traditionally used by men to divorce their wives, it is a controversial practice banned in many Middle Eastern countries. However, it is unclear what legal authority Sheikha's post has.

Shaikha's shocking announcement came two months after the former couple, who got married in May 2023, welcomed their daughter. They had announced their pregnancy in October 2023 with an ultrasound photo on Instagram.
