The model/TV personality, who began dating the Yeezy designer in 2008, claims that the rapper pushed her to dress seductively despite her conservative hesitations.

AceShowbiz - Amber Rose was not being herself when she was in a relationship with Kanye West. In a new interview, the model claimed her rapper ex-boyfriend has turned her into a "sexpot" by pushing her to dress seductively despite her conservative hesitations.

The 40-year-old made the revelation in the Thursday, March 28 episode of "Just B with Bethenny Frankel". She said, "I am conservative actually... I have always been conservative since I was young."

However, things were different when Amber began dating Kanye in 2008. "That was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye," she explained. "And he knows a lot about fashion and he always wanted me to dress very sexy."

Amber admitted that she eventually went along with the "sexy girl" impression because she was young. "So when I was out on my own - without my first relationship that kind of brought me to the light - that's what they wanted from me," she said.

The TV personality has tried "to go against the grain," but she was often met with criticism. "I would have producers saying, 'We want to do this video for MTV and we want you at the pool, with a bikini on, martini in your hand.' And I'm like, 'Ugh, I'm so not her.' Like I'm so not her and I get what I come off as but I am so not her,' " she recalled. "And they're like, 'Well I guess you don't want to do it then.' "

Amber, who was married to Wiz Khalia from 2013 to 2016, confessed that she "cringes" when she reflected on her early years in the spotlight and all the things she had to sacrifice. "It was like I remember fighting so hard to not be that person and no one would let me," she stated.
