In a new podcast interview, the former 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' star declares that she 'absolutely' trusts and believes the victims who have come forward with the allegations.

AceShowbiz - Melissa Joan Hart, known for her starring roles on "Clarissa Explains It All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch", has expressed her support for the victims who have come forward with allegations of abuse at Nickelodeon.

In an interview on the "Meghan McCain Has Entered the Chat" podcast, Hart stated that she "absolutely trust[s] them, believe[s] them, one hundred percent." Despite having had a "wonderful experience" working for Nickelodeon, she acknowledged that she was not privy to the experiences of others.

Hart, who began her career at Nickelodeon in 1989, noted that she had no personal knowledge of the alleged incidents depicted in the documentary "Quiet on Set". However, she emphasized that she worked at the Orlando Nickelodeon location, rather than the Hollywood one where the majority of the allegations originated.

While she stated that she and her crew worked long hours, Hart expressed feeling protected and safe on set. She praised the support she received from the cast and crew, who she believes took good care of her.

Hart also noted that the incidents alleged in the documentary took place a decade after she left Nickelodeon. She emphasized that not all experiences at Nickelodeon were negative, and that there were employees who treated her with care and respect.

Hart's statement follows a wave of former Nickelodeon employees and actors speaking out about their experiences, sparked by the "Quiet on Set" documentary. Several accusations have been made, including allegations of inappropriate behavior, racism and sexism. The documentary has prompted Nickelodeon to launch an investigation into the matter.
