The 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker voices her appreciation for her devotees after performing her songs, including one that is featured in her newly-released album.

AceShowbiz - Shakira voiced her appreciation to her devotees following her surprise performance. Shortly after performing in front of 40,000 people in Times Square, the "Girl Like Me" singer gushed over the "insane experience."

On Tuesday, March 26, the 46-year-old songstress took to Instagram to thank her fans for watching her perform at the famed location in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. In the caption of her new post, she exclaimed, "What an insane experience!!"

Shakira went on to write, "40,000 of you in Times Square, I have goosebumps!" Near the end of the caption, she penned, "Thank you for such an amazing welcome and for coming to party with me NY! #ShakiraTSX #LMYNL."

In the same post, Shakira uploaded a video from the surprise show. In the clip, it could be seen that she was delivering the remix of her hit single titled "BZRP Music Session Vol. 53". The remix itself is featured in her latest album "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran", which translates to "Women Don't Cry Anymore".

The footage documented the Grammy winner singing along to the track while showing off her skills in dancing on top of a stage. For the particular song performance, she was joined by a number of backup dancers, who looked in sync in their nearly all-black ensembles.

Shakira opted to wear a skin-tight sleeveless black top, which came with two silver graphics on the wearer's chest. She also donned a pair of loose long matching pants that had silver embellishments on their upper part. Her long curly hair, which was parted in the middle, cascaded down her back.

After taking the stage, Shakira was showered with praise by many of her fans. In the comments section of the post, one in particular praised her, "I love it!!!! I Admire this woman. So many years in the industry and still on TOP." Similarly, another joined in, "There were 40 thousand souls but around the world we were all connected Shakira, from Peru we screamed in front of the TV with every song, congratulations Shak you were Spectacular."
