AceShowbiz - Paris Jackson has talked about her look at the 2024 Grammy Awards. When hitting the red carpet of the 66th annual event, the "Let Down" singer, who released her debut single in 2020, revealed the reason why she covered "every single one" of her 80 tattoos with makeup.
On Sunday night, February 4, the 25-year-old daughter of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson made an appearance at the award show, which took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. However, the model looked different as her inks were nowhere to be seen.
During an interview on the red carpet, Paris confirmed to Melvin Robert from ExtraTV that she covered up "every single one of" her inks. On the reason behind her decision to do so, she explained, "I wanted to give this Celine dress its own moment." She elaborated, "I love my piercings, my tattoos, all the body-mod stuff, but sometimes it can distract from the art."
In the same chat, Paris talked about her music. She stated, "I love that it's fun and loud. I still stick with kind of the same folk poetry lyrics, but the production route I'm taking with Linda Perry is, like, very Linda Perry, loud and fun." She went on to say, "I like seeing the audience who's never heard my music before all synchronized head-bang, it's fun."
At the star-studded event, Paris attracted the attention of many with her stunning look. She showed off her flat abs in an asymmetrical strapless long black dress. The gown came with an off-the-shoulder design and a huge cut-out on the wearer's bodice as well as thigh-high slit on one of her legs. Furthermore, it was long enough to trail down and cover her shoes.
To match with the gown, the model sported a pair of black open-toe strappy high heels and kept her belongings in a black clutch. She accessorized herself with a gold bracelet, a number of rings and a pair of huge gold earrings. In addition, she had natural makeup on her face and styled her long blonde hair in beach waves.
