AceShowbiz - Olivia Culpo has surprised Christian McCaffrey's mother with a luxury birthday gift. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model revealed that she bought a suite at the upcoming Super Bowl for Lisa and their family shortly after her fiance's mom claimed that the model couldn't afford it.
On Friday, February 2, the 31-year-old beauty, who won Miss USA 2012 and Miss Universe 2012, spilled what gift she had prepared for Lisa's birthday via Instagram Story. She wrote, "Fake news! Happy birthday Lisa I bought you a suite." She was replying to a headline featuring Lisa's statement suggesting that the model and her athlete son couldn't buy the suite due to its high price.
The Story came hours after Lisa's remarks about Olivia and Christian not buying the suite circulated online. Earlier that same day, an interview wherein Lisa talked about the matter was released on YouTube. During a chat on the "Your Mom" podcast for its 61st episode, Lisa answered two fans' questions that read, "How do you determine who is in your Super Bowl suite?" and "How expensive are those Super Bowl tickets that Christian has to buy?"
Lisa explained, "That is probably the question of the hour, you have no idea. We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, moneybags over there, and nor moneybags Olivia. So we are not in a suite. I'll tell you that right now."
"We did negotiate a different area, I don't exactly understand what it is, but anyway we are in there," the mother of the San Francisco 49ers running back further unveiled. "And probably part of the problem is I wanted eight tickets to get together because I felt strongly about everybody being together."
Lisa went on to elaborate, "So long story short, they're outrageously expensive, they're stupid expensive." She added, "I don't know if it's the Taylor Swift factor, if it's the first time in Vegas Factor, there's so much going on," making a reference to the "All Too Well" hitmaker who reportedly will attend the sports event to support her athlete boyfriend Travis Kelce.
