AceShowbiz - Billy Joel is set to perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time in 30 years. More than one week ahead of the award show, the "All My Life" singer, who is famously known as the "Piano Man," joined the performers line-up.

On Wednesday, January 24, the official Instagram account of the award show revealed the 74-year-old music legend as one of the famous artists to perform at the 66th annual event. He is set to entertain audiences at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 4.

Prior to the new announcement, the 2024 Grammy Awards spilled that Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo are slated to take the stage during the ceremony. On January 15, the award show reminded the public to get ready for "mesmerizing" performances by the "What Was I Made For?" songstress, the "Dance the Night" singer and the "Drivers License" hitmaker.

Later on, the award show unveiled that Luke Combs, Travis Scott (II) and Burna Boy will also deliver their hits at the annual event. It made the announcement during the NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 21.

The news about Billy's performance at the forthcoming award show came a few days after he surprised his fans with the possibility of him releasing new music. On Saturday, January 20, he uploaded a video via TikTok featuring a message that read, "I have good news, I have bad news, I'll give you the bad news first."

The "Uptown Girl" hitmaker continued, "We don't have anything new to play for you. The good news is you don't have to sit through something you have no idea what it is! Although … we got a little something we're working on you might hear sometime."
