In a new interview, the 32-year-old 'Gone Girl' actress, who has been raising her son as a single mom, also talks about the biggest hurdle she has faced as a woman.

AceShowbiz - Emily Ratajkowski feels her bond with her son and her book are her two greatest achievements. The "Gone Girl" actress, 32, has been bringing up her son Sylvester as a single mom after having him nearly three years ago with her 36-year-old film producer former husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, who is rumored to have cheated on her and is also currently facing allegations of sexual misconduct by multiple women in September 2022.

Emily told Glamour in an online video chat, "I have two things I qualify as my greatest achievements. One is becoming a mother, and the everyday kind of achievements I have with my son, successes and victories and just the relationship that I'm cultivating with him, I think is something I'm extremely proud of. And then I would say writing my book was another huge achievement for me."

Emily added the biggest hurdle she has faced as a woman has been battling cliched representations of females. She went on, "My greatest challenge, I think, has been fighting stereotypes, and being able to be a multifaceted person who, you know, can kind of connect to all parts of myself, particularly in the public eye."

"I found that to be very difficult, and to receive kind of a lot of backlash for the moments that I step out of my lane, so to speak, and I would say that's an ongoing struggle for me, but it's something that also I face in my private life, and I know a lot of female friends who face that, who are not famous or in the public eye, so I think it's really about perseverance, and being true to yourself," she added.
