The 'Games of Thrones' alum, who shares two daughters with the DNCE frontman, previously claimed that her ex wouldn't let her take their kids to relocate to the U.K. with her permanently as they agreed upon.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Sophie Turner has a change of heart. Months after accusing her estranged husband Joe Jonas of child abduction, the "Games of Thrones" actress decided to dismiss the lawsuit.

According to TMZ, attorneys for both Sophie and Joe have asked a judge in their federal case in New York to throw out the British beauty's previous filing. The 27-year-old previously filed a lawsuit in Manhattan back in September 2023, claiming that their daughters, Willa and their 1-year-old baby girl, were being wrongfully retained in New York City.

Sophie claimed that Joe wouldn't let her take their kids to relocate to the U.K. with her permanently as they agreed upon. However, Joe insisted that he was simply adhering to a Florida Court order.

"After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case," a representative for Joe said at the time. "Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce. The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago."

"Joe and Sophie had a cordial meeting this past Sunday in New York, when Sophie came to New York to be with the kids," the rep added. "They have been with her since that meeting. Joe's impression of the meeting was that they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup."

Sophie and Joe announced their split in September. The celebrity duo - who tied the knot back in 2019 - said via a joint statement, "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."
