AceShowbiz - It looks like The Weeknd is gearing up for new music. The "Save Your Tears" hitmaker sparked new album excitement after sharing a cryptic teaser on social media.

Making use of X (formerly Twitter), the 33-year-old unleashed the cover art for his last two albums, 2020's "After Hours" and 2022's "Dawn FM". The two snaps were followed by a question mark teasing a third and final installment in the trilogy. Alongside the images, he simply left a "3" emoji.

Fans have since gushed over the post. One in particular exclaimed, "LETS F**KING GOOOOO IVE BEEN LISTENING TO DAWN FM FOR 2 YEARS STRAIGHT." Another replied, "OH HE TEASING US YALL WE GETTING CLOSER." A third commented, "Stop teasing us, you're killing us here."

Back in June 2023, The Weeknd revealed that he was working on the follow-up of "After Hours" and "Dawn FM". He told Variety, "I'm finishing the third part of this saga, of this trilogy."

"The name of it will come out soon, but it's not called what some fans think it's called… what they think it's called is actually a song on the album, but that's not what the actual album is called," he further elaborated. "So I'm just gonna say that."
