Social media users share memes of the former prison inmate and the 'Summertime Sadness' songstress as they react to Gypsy-Rose and Lana's similar mannerisms.

AceShowbiz - Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's name has been everywhere since she was released from prison and one of the reasons why is her similarity to Lana Del Rey. Social media users have gone wild after noticing the former inmate and the singer's similar mannerisms.
Gypsy-Rose, whose real story inspired Hulu's eight-part miniseries "The Act", recently started her TikTok account. In her first video, she talked to her fans and other users in a similar manner to the "Video Games" songstress.
"Hi, everyone. This is Gypsy. I'm finally free!" the 32-year-old said in her video. "I just want to send a quick video to thank everyone for the massive amount of support that I've been gaining on social media."
Upon watching the clip, people couldn't help but notice the similarity between Gypsy-Rose and Lana, with one commenting, "Someone said Lana Del Rey and Gypsy have the same mannerisms and now I can't unsee."
Another penned, "Why does she speak like she's about to name her album with the longest title you've ever seen." The commenter likely referred to Lana's 2023 album "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd".
A third said, "oomfie said she has the same mannerism as Lana Del Rey and I can't f**king unsee it." Agreeing, another shared, "I can't get over how similar Lana and Gypsy Rose are." A fifth added, "Heard someone say Gypsy Rose is Lana coded when she talks and honestly that makes so much sense."
Some others reacted by posting memes that put the picture of Gypsy-Rose for a mock cover art of Lana's album or her single.
Neither Gypsy-Rose nor Lana has commented on their comparison, but the former is apparently a fan of the Grammy Award nominee. The Louisiana native, who was sentenced to ten years in prison for the 2015 murder of her abusive mother, recently followed the 38-year-old singer on Instagram.
