The 'Uptown Girl' singer was so impressed by what he saw in the Florida show that he is likely to take his children to another concert by the 'Cruel Summer' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - Billy Joel has become a "cool dad" for taking his kids to see Taylor Swift. The 74-year-old singer - who shares daughters Della, eight, and six-year-old Remy with wife Alexis Roderick - was so impressed when he took them to see the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker in Florida as part of her "Eras" tour earlier this year that he is likely to take them to the show a second time.

"I got very cool dad points. Oh, she's great. She's really very good. We're going to probably go see her again," he told People.

At the time, the Grammy Award-winning star - who also has 32-year-old Alexa with model Christie Brinkley - took to social media to share a carousel of photos from their time at the concert and thanked the "Love Story" songstress for putting on such a good show. He wrote on Instagram, "Rockin' into our new 'era' thank you @Taylorswift we loved the show!"

In one shot, Billy could be seen walking around the stadium holding hands with his daughters whilst in a video shared to the platform, the girls could be seen excitedly jumping around as Taylor took to the stage.

The "Uptown Girl" hitmaker previously hailed Taylor - whose ongoing stadium tour has already become the second highest-grossing concert of all-time, just behind Sir Elton John's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour - as a "very talented girl" and compared the mania surrounding her to that garnered by The Beatles during their heyday in the 1960s.

He told USA Today, "Taylor is also a very talented girl, and she's productive and keeps coming up with great concepts and songs, and she's huge. You have to give her high marks. She knows music, and she knows how to write. She's like that generation's Beatles."
