While celebrating her turning 31 years old with her loved ones, the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker surprises the party guests with an intimate live performance of her hit 'Flowers'.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus treated her family and friends to her first "Flowers" performance. Nearly one year after releasing the song, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker decided to deliver her hit for the first time in front of her loved ones as they celebrated her birthday.

On Thursday, November 23, the singer, who turned 31 years old that same day, uploaded via Instagram a series of videos and photos from her intimate "Flowers" performance at her birthday bash. In the clips, she could be seen delivering the song in a room packed with party guests, consisting of her family and friends.

Miley was documented standing in front of her loved ones, who were sitting on their seats, with a piano man playing the instrument behind her. In the beginning of the clip, she was wearing an all-black outfit, including a matching outer and a pair of gloves. She was then filmed encouraging the party guests to sing along with her.

While singing the lyrics "Write my name in the sand/ Talk to myself for hours/ Say things you don't understand," Miley took off the jacket and wore the gloves higher until they reached slightly above her elbows. At one point, she changed the lyrics as she sang, "I didn't wanna leave but I had to/ I didn't wanna fight, you did."

During the special occasion, Miley struck a number of poses in her chic ensemble. She put on a busty display in a black corset top that came with a low-cut design, long-sleeved matching crop blazer and skin-tight short matching skirt. To complete the look, she wore a pair of black sunglasses and carried a brown leopard pattern handbag.

Along with the clips and snaps, the "We Can't Stop" songstress wrote in the caption of the post, "My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand." She additionally recalled, "I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own."

"First live performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family. Taking this song back to the seed… she sprouted sensationally. Grateful for the growth in us both," the "Used to Be Young" singer continued. She then concluded, "With Love, Miley," adding rose, lips and red heart emojis.
