The Ted Mosby depicter on 'How I Met Your Mother' has yet to reveal the name of his bride-to-be, but he previously divulged in a recent interview that his fiancee works as a psychologist in the New York area.

AceShowbiz - Josh Radnor had a special announcement for fans during his recent gig. The "How I Met Your Mother" star revealed that he's getting married after playing his song "Brooklyn Girl" during his tour stop in New York City.

During his performance on Thursday night, November 16, the 49-year-old told fans that he wrote the song after meeting his partner at his friend's "psychedelic" event. He then declared, "In an unexpected twist, we’re getting married."

Josh has yet to reveal the identity of his bride-to-be. However, when speaking to Page Six at the premiere of his miniseries "Fleishman Is in Trouble" in November 2022, he admitted that he was in a happy relationship.

"During the filming of this, I was very much newly with someone [who] I'm still with and continue to be very excited about," the actor shared. He went on to confess, "In some ways, I've always been scared of a bad marriage, spouses that were at odds with each other... So there's something relieving about being able to play that out in a fictional context."

The Ted Mosby depicter on the Emmy Award-winning CBS sitcom continued, "Maybe it means you won't have to do as much of that in real life."

Earlier this month, Josh informed PEOPLE that he now lives in Brooklyn with his fiancee, who works as a psychologist in the New York area. At the time, he was opening up about his upcoming album, "Eulogy: Volume I".

Of the project, Josh shared, "I started the record with this mixture of grief and anger, and by the end of recording it, I was really connecting with someone in quite a special way." He added, "It was a journey, that's for sure."
