Barr's TV daughter Sara Gilbert, her ex-husband Tom Arnold, director Ava DuVernay as well as fellow actors Viola Davis and Don Cheadle are among those who have slammed the 'Roseanne' star for her racist tweet.

AceShowbiz - Roseanne Barr's fall from grace following her ill-advised racist blast continues - she has been dropped by her agents.

The comedienne took aim at Valerie Jarrett, one of former U.S. leader Barack Obama's African-American aides, via Twitter after she was linked to allegations the administration spied on the last French elections.

Her comments became personal as Barr took aim at Jarrett's colour, prompting a social media outcry and forcing her to apologise and announce she was shutting down her Twitter account.

ABC bosses joined the chorus of disapproval and announced they were cancelling her revived sitcom, "Roseanne", and now officials at her agency, ICM Partners, have dumped her.

"We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning," a statement reads. "What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency. Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client."

Meanwhile, her cancelled show's executive producer Bruce Helford has also released a statement, which reads: "On behalf of all the writers and producers, we worked incredibly hard to create an amazing show. I was personally horrified and saddened by the comments and in no way do they reflect the values of the people who worked so hard to make this the iconic show that it is."

Roseanne has also been blasted by her TV daughter, Sara Gilbert, who called her racist tweet "abhorrent", adding, "I am disappointed in her actions to say the least."

And her new TV granddaughter, Emma Rose Kenney, has saluted ABC for axing the show, tweeting: "I am hurt, embarrassed, and disappointed. The racist and distasteful comments from Roseanne are inexcusable. As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I found out the show got cancelled... Bullies do not win. Ever."

Meanwhile, Barr's ex-husband Tom Arnold has also taken aim at Roseanne and TV bosses at ABC, claiming he was "blocked" from promoting anything on the network because "I called out Roseanne Barr & her dangerous tweets". He added, "Ton of respect for (ABC/Disney boss) Bob Iger. Tough decision with financial consequences for his company but right for America... now don't bug Bob but maybe someone else find out if I'm still banned from all of @ABCNetwork for calling Roseanne Barr out first on her racist conspiracy tweets (sic)?"

The controversial comedienne has also been attacked on social media by Julianne Moore, Ava DuVernay, Viola Davis, Debra Messing, Minnie Driver, Don Cheadle, and Patricia Arquette, who writes: "I am repulsed that Valerie Jarret had that racist and bigoted 'joke' made at her expense..."
