Both Chris and Anna filed the divorce papers in a Los Angeles Court on December 1, almost four months after announcing their split.

AceShowbiz - There's no slight chance at reconciliation for Chris Pratt and Anna Faris. Almost four months after announcing their legal separation, the estranged couple has now filed for divorce. The "Jurassic World" actor filed the legal documents on Friday, December 1 and Anna filed her response to the divorce at exactly the same time.
According to TMZ which obtained copy of the divorce papers, the two documents mirror images of each other. They are both asking for joint custody of their 5-year-old son Jack and citing "Irreconcilable differences" as their reason of their split. The pair are also reserving the right to get spousal support.
They listed July 13 as their separation date. Chris is repped by attorney Lauren Petkin and Anna is repped by Laura Wasser and Samantha Klein.
Chris and Anna, who eloped in Bali, Indonesia on July 9, 2009, announced their split on August 6, ending their eight-year marriage. "Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating," Chris posted on Facebook at the time. "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
It was reported at the time that the 38-year-old hunk and the 41-year-old actress' busy schedules drifted them apart. "Anna is a very sweet girl, and it did often seem that the distance between her and Chris - his busy schedule and hers - was hard on her," a source told PEOPLE. "He was gone on various projects and that's never easy. She always seemed so happy when he was back from filming. I assume it was hard for both of them, with a young child and busy careers, to balance all of that."
Jennifer Lawrence was somehow blamed for the couple's split after she starred alongside Chris in "Passengers (2016)", but the speculation was proven false, as Anna wrote in her memoir "Unqualified" that she and Jennifer "really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn't need to be, because she hadn't done anything wrong."
There were rumors that Chris and Anna were secretly trying to work out their problems to save their marriage, but the "Mom" star has since moved on with cinematographer Michael Barrett. They have been dating for months after meeting on the set of her upcoming movie "Overboard".
