The Oscar-winning actress reveals that the 'American Hustle' director is currently writing a film in which she will play the veteran actor's mother.

You may not believe this, but Jennifer Lawrence could next be seen as Robert De Niro's mother in a future film. The 25-year-old actress herself revealed this odd casting choice when recently appearing on "Live! With Kelly and Michael".
"David is making something right now and the plan, so far, is for me to play Bob De Niro's mother," said the Oscar-winning actress as quoted by The Guardian. "I think that the more people give him crap about me being too young for his parts, he's like, 'Oh yeah, watch this' - so we'll see."
Lawrence, however, did not give further details of the project in which she would appear as De Niro's mother. The Katniss Everdeen of "The Hunger Games" film series has teamed up with the filmmaker in "Silver Linings Playbook", "American Hustle" and the upcoming "Joy", all of which also star De Niro.
