Adam Lambert will reunite with Paula Abdul as they have been billed as announcers for this year's nominees of American Music Awards, ABC confirms on a press release. Along with Snoop Dogg, the alum and former judge of "American Idol" will reveal those vying for the awards Tuesday, October 13 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Nominations for the 2009 American Music Awards are presented in eight categories. They are Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip Hop, Latin Music, Alternative Music, Contemporary Inspirational and Adult Contemporary categories.
AMAs will take place on November 22 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater this year. The ceremony will be telecast live as a three-hour primetime special on the ABC Television Network. Two days after the event is held, Adam Lambert will release his studio album across United States.

Since Adam is announcing the AMA Nominees, and the AMA Show airs 2 days before his album drops...how awesome would it be if he ends up PERFORMING his first single on the AMA's this year? Things that make you go "hmmmmm". :-)

Every day there is another important music industry connection for Adam. Everyone wants a piece of him because they know how big he is going to be. Adam is a huge fan of Paula's (he went to her concert when he was 10) and she is a huge fan of Adam. So glad they can be reunited and acknowledged in this way after AI dissed her. By November, "Time for Miracles" will be #1 and Adam's presales for his cd will make it gold before release. Can't wait.

You know Adam has such a magnificent voice that even if one doesn't love everything on his first album, just wait - he can sing anything so he will likely do many styles in his long, spectacular career. Plus bless his heart he is adorably sweet, fiercly gorgeous, and a really decent guy. Adam Rocks!!

Paula is spot on to say ADAM will be iconic. He is unstoppable. It was Paula who saw that magic in ADAM from day 1, during the audition and never wavered in her conviction that ADAM will be a force to be reckon with after AI’s platform. It’s just sad Paula won’t be sitting in the judges’ seat when ADAM comes back to AI to perform one of these days and confirm what Paula said all along, that ADAM will be iconic.
I just cannot believe the kind of exposure Adam Lambert receives. To the best of my knowledge, he is the only American Idol finalist in its entire history that became an instant success less than six months after its finale. Kudos Adam... you are truly a superstar!
